Student Survey: 25.3 percent think admin values student feedback, and more

The ECHO released its latest monthly student survey Nov. 9, collecting 171 responses before closing at the end of the month. Among the respondents were 57 seniors, 33 juniors, 23 sophomores and 58 freshmen.

     Here’s what we learned:

Question: Is East a good school?

Question: Do you approve of Principal Casey’s administration?

Question: How safe do you feel at East?

Question: Do you approve of the 50 percent grade minimum?

Question: Do you think the school administration values student feedback on its policies?

Question: Do you feel represented by the Student Council?

Question: Do you think discipline is handled fairly at East?

Question: Do you care about local politics?

Question: How many student clubs are you a member of?

Question: Should the school modify its use of e-hallpass?

Question: What type of paper tastes best?

Question: East’s stated theme this year is “Loved, Respected & Connected.” How well do you feel the school embodies these ideals?

The ECHO will be releasing a similar student survey each month to gain a better sense of what the student body really thinks about East.
